Michael Kovacs is the co-founder of Castleforge Partners, a London based investment fund specialising in UK commercial property. Castleforge focuses on value creation through an active asset management strategy and full vertical integration.‎ Since its founding, the platform has closed over 20 transactions across many major asset classes and the current fund has raised in excess of £240 million from its Limited Partners.

Prior to founding Castleforge in 2010, Michael worked in the London office of global property investment fund Westbrook Partners, where he was involved in over $3 billion of transactions throughout Europe and Asia across a diverse range of real estate investment types and asset classes. Michael began his career in New York at the Blackstone Group, where he was involved in mergers and acquisitions across several different industries.

Michael graduated summa cum laude with an economics degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
